The tape tells about three ceramic artists from Kharkiv: the glory of Leontiev, his wife Anna Stasenko and their friend Andrei Stefanov. After the start of the full -scale war, they remain in the frontline and continue to create works of art from porcelain, etching on tiny figures their idyllic past, uncertain present and a multi -reliable future.
The film of directors – Ukrainian Slava Leontiev (and at the same time one of the heroes of the film) and American Brandon Bellomo (“Chupa”) was filmed.
As recalled in the press service of the Arthouse Traffic Film Company, the world premiere of the joint production of the US, Ukraine and Australia was held at the beginning of 2024 at the largest American Film Festival of Independent Cinema “Sandance”, where the “porcelain war” received the Grand Prix Jury of the American Contest. Documentary.
