Anime Anime for Sekiro / Photo – FromsoftwareGamescom Opening Night Live announced anime based on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Kadokawa, Crunchyroll and Qzil.la and Arch studios work on it. The authors promise to carefully transfer the game to the format of fully painted animation.
The plot will tell about Shinobi, nicknamed the wolf, who goes to save the young Mr. Kuro. The action unfolds in the fantasy version of Japan of the Sengook era. The premiere will take place in 2026, and outside Japan, China and Korea Anime will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll.
The director of the Keniti Kutsuna said that the team sets a monumental task to convey the beauty and atmosphere of Sekiro in animation.
The designer of the characters Takhiro Kisida (“Incredible Adventures of Jiogo”) and Art Director of Judzi Kaneko (Visions) are also involved in the work.
