He also responded to criticism and hateful comments that often appear on social media. The 28-year-old writer said this on his Instagram page.Teren noted that the ending will be unpredictable, and life after it will be even more so. He also commented on the idea that the show is scripted, asking why he was confused about the finale then.
The military man emphasized that the shooting process lasts several months, and falling in love does not happen in one week. Teren responded to accusations of narcissism with a rhetorical question:
“Do you think they take people who don’t like themselves for “The Bachelor”?”
Who is Oleksandr Teren?Oleksandr “Teren” Budko is not just a war veteran and public figure, he is a true symbol of indomitability and zest for life. He lost both legs during the hostilities in the Kharkiv region, but he did not lose faith in himself and his future. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Oleksandr went to the front as a volunteer. He served in the 49th separate rifle battalion “Karpatska Sich”, where he received the call sign “Teren”.
In 2022, during a combat mission, Oleksandr was seriously wounded and lost both legs. He went through a long rehabilitation process and learned to walk with prostheses.
Oleksandr is actively engaged in social activities, advocating the rights of people with disabilities and war veterans. He is the author of the book “The Story of a Stubborn Man” and the YouTube project “Leg Drop, or All Inclusive”, where he checks the accessibility of Ukrainian cities for people with disabilities.
