The tape was filmed based on Jack El-Hay’s best-seller “Nazi and Psychiatrist. A fateful meeting on the eve of Nuremberg”, which was published in Ukraine by the publishing house “Our Format”.
At the center of the plot is the psychiatrist of the Second World War, Douglas Kelly, who assesses the state of captives of Nazi leaders and is becoming an increasingly obsessed idea of understanding evil, analyzing the mind of Hitler Hitler’s closest associate. This can be useful to the Nuremberg Tribunal – the first international process over military criminals, but also questioned it.
The role of Ginging in the movie was played by Oscar -winning Russell Crow (“Gladiator”, “Mind Games”, “Travel to Yuma”, “Deaded”, “Exorcist of the Vatican”), whereas Kelly’s image was embodied by the Oscar Laureate Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhale”, ”

The film was directed by American James Vanderbast, the most famous for script (Zodiac “David Fincher,” New Spiderman “Mark Webba,” Crying 5 “Tyler Gilletta). As an independent director, he made his debut in 2015 with the Pravda political drama with Kate Blanchett and Robert Redford.
Nuremberg’s world premiere took place during the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025. Most critics praised the acting game in the tape.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 7.8 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes it has received 60% of critics approval. At the same time, at Metacritic, cinema experts rated it at 63 out of 100 points, which corresponds to the characteristic “generally positive feedback”.
