Recently, the premiere of the biopic about the wrestler Mark Kerr, played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, took place. Despite great expectations from this work, the film did not collect a very small “box office” at the start of distribution – only 5.9 million dollars. According to Variety, this is the lowest figure in Johnson’s career.
However, this did not affect Nolan’s assessment. The director of the films “Oppenheimer”, “Interstellar” and “Inception” expressed his admiration for the acting of “The Rocks”.
“I think it’s an incredible performance. I don’t think you’ll see a better game this year or in other years,” he emphasized.
Christopher also congratulated his colleague, the director of the film “Unbreakable” Benny Safdie, noting that this work has every chance of becoming a hit.
“Congratulations on the film. It’s a truly wonderful and radical work that will be understood more and more over time. I’m very proud to know you,” Nolan said.
