The tape is based on an ancient Greek epic poem / UNIAN collage / ScreenshotsStudio Universal presented the first trailer for the film “Odyssey” – a large-scale adaptation of the ancient Greek epic Homer by film director Christopher Nolan.
In the center of the plot is the legendary hero Odysseus, who after the Trojan War embarks on a dangerous and challenging journey home. The main roles in the film were performed by Matt Damon (“Oppenheimer”, “The Martian”), Anne Hathaway (“Interstellar”, “The Devil Wears Prada”), Robert Pattinson (“Tenet”, “Batman”), Zendaya (“Dune”, “Spider-Man”) and Tom Holland (“Spider-Man”, “The Impossible”).
The film also stars Lupita Nyong’o (“12 Years a Slave,” “Us”), Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”), Mia Gott (“Pearl,” “X”), Benny Safdie (“Oppenheimer,” “Unbreakable”), Jon Bernthal (“The Punisher,” “The Walking Dead”), John Leguizamo (“John Wick,” “Romeo + Juliet”) and others.
Christopher Nolan not only directed the film, but also wrote the script and acted as a producer with his wife Emma Thomas. “Odyssey” was filmed in various parts of the world using the latest IMAX technologies.
It will be recalled that earlier Christopher Nolan faced criticism from the management of the International Film Festival of Western Sahara due to filming in the occupied city of Dakhla.
