“Amid her hosting duties at the 2026 Golden Globes, Nikki Glaser took a moment to spoof the KPop Demon Hunters’ track “Golden” with a Marty Supreme twist. “There were so many great movies this year. “There were so many great movies this year. From Marty Supreme that KPong Demon Hunters,” she said, accidentally meshing the two films together. “I’m sorry, that was a mistake.”
“KPong Demon Hunters… Wait a second, that just gave me an idea,” Glaser said, before heading to the back of the Globes stage where she took off her sparkly blazer and threw on a Marty Supreme warm-up jacket. “Oh, this is gonna go so viral,” she pronounced before launching into her own song set to the tune of “Golden.”
“They asked me to host the Golden Globes. They said do your thing, just please don’t sing. But I had a dream, like Marty Supreme, they said no, unless you get Gwyneth Paltrow,” Glaser sang, continuing into the track’s pre-chorus and chorus: “So I’m here singing, still committing just like Chalamet. If Kev O’Leary spanks my rear-y, I’ll turn around and say … I won’t give up, up, up on this song, yeah. It feels like it’s going on long, yeah,” she sang as Fran Drescher, who appears in Marty Supremecut her off to put an end to Glaser’s performance.
“For the love of God, stop!” Drescher told Glaser, who responded, “What’s going on, Fran?”
“Sweetie, you know I love you, but you have to stop singing. Your voice is so annoying,” Drescher said, as the comedian added, “That means so much coming from you.”
The Nanny star added, “Look, I’m sorry, but if you don’t stop singing right now, I’m gonna remove you from the union.” Glaser pointed out that “you’re not even the president of SAG anymore,” to which Drescher shot back, “I get one free kill, honey.”

“Golden” ultimately took home the award for best original song at the 2026 Golden Globes, while Timothée Chalamet also won the best actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy, for his role in Marty Supreme.
In Glaser’s monologue, she poked fun at a number of hot topics, including the Warner Bros. sale, changes at CBS News and Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating tendencies.
“What a career you’ve had,” the comedian said of DiCaprio. “I mean, countless iconic performances. You’ve worked with every great director. You’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar and the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it’s just insane.”
At the top of the show, Glaser also joked about the Warner Bros. bidding war: “So let’s get down to business, shall we? We’ll start the bidding for Warner Bros. at $5. Do I hear $5?”
And in a jab at CBS News, she dished out a faux award for “most editing,” joking, “The award for most editing goes to CBS News. Yes CBS News, America’s newest place to see BS news.” It was seemingly a reference to CBS News’ new editor-in-chief Bari Weiss’ decision to pull a 60 Minutes episode on El Salvador’s CECOT prison.
Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker were honored with Cecil B. DeMille and Carol Burnett awards, respectively, at the Golden Eve event. The marquee event was filmed on Tuesday and aired Thursday on CBS.
The 2026 Golden Globes aired live on CBS and Paramount+ Sunday from the Beverly Hilton. Nikki Glaser hosted for the second year in a row.
