He noted that he does not support the trend of translating old Russian-language songs into Ukrainian.

“Re-singing old songs in Ukrainian – for me, honestly, it’s cringe. When some artists re-sing Russian-language songs in Ukrainian – it’s strange. Can’t you create a new hit? You’ve created them before,” said Dobrynin in the “55 for 5” project.

The presenter added that he believes the best solution is to create something completely new. And he also urged not to copy the content made by the Russians.

“It is better to generate some new product. And not to copy Russian content,” Nikita emphasized, but did not name the artists who do it.

We will remind, earlier Verka Serdyuchka said that she does not want to translate her Russian-language hits. The famous Ukrainian singer Fagot named the reason why the artist probably made such a decision.
