She is a real Hollywood star / photo ua.depositphotos.comToday, on August 14, Mila Kunis – Hollywood actress of Ukrainian descent, known as role in the films “Black Swan”, “Sex on Friendship” and “Third extra”, celebrates her 42nd birthday.
Milena Kunis was born in 1983 in Chernivtsi in a Jewish family. When she was seven, she moved to the United States with her parents. Markov’s father was a mechanical engineer and worked as a taxi driver after moving to the United States. And mother, Elvira Kunis, a physics teacher who changed her profession in America and became a pharmaceutical pharmacist. Mila also has Michael’s older brother.
Her acting career began with episodic roles in television series, but a real breakthrough occurred when she got the role of Jackie Berkgart in the 70’s show. Later, Kunis gained worldwide recognition thanks to the drama “Black Swan” (2010), which brought her a Saturn Award and a Gold Globe nomination. In addition to cinema, it is also known as the voice of Meg Griffin in the cult cartoon “Griffin”.
She is married to actor Ashton Kutcher, they have two children: Vayat isabella Kutcher and Dmitry Portwood Kutcher. Mila maintains a close relationship with her parents and brother who live near California.
War in UkraineAfter the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine in 2022, Mila and her husband launched a charity campaign for raising funds for Ukrainians who were injured from the war.
They managed to raise more than $ 35 million for humanitarian aid, in particular for Flexport (delivery of humanitarian cargo) and Airbnb.org (refugee provision).
During her activities, Kunis received the People’s Choice Award in the “Best Hero of the Year” category, and Time included it in the list of 100 most influential people in the world in 2022.
