Mici-17 films and porcelain warfare / UNIAN collage, screenshotsThe main premieres of this week will be the innovative “Mici-17” with Robert Pattinson-a new film of the creator of “Parasites” Pona Jun-Hoh, as well as the Ukrainian-American documentary “Porcelain War”, which was competing for Oscar this year.

Mickey 17Mickey 17 (USA, 2025, Comedy/Fiction/Drama)
At the center of the plot of this innovative film, based on the scientific and fantastic novel of Edward Ashton “Mici-7”, is a young man named Mici, who is involved in the colonization of the ice world Niflheim. He agrees to become a “renewable employee” whose mind will be loaded into a new body after each death. In this way, Mickey begins to be used as a experimental rabbit, each time exposing him to deadly experiments. However, during one of the missions, he loses connection with the base for a while, and when he returns, he sees that he has already been created. Now two Mici should not only get along with each other, but also save the planet.
The main roles in the film were played by Robert Pattinson (franchise “Twilight”, “Batman”, “Tenet”, “Lighthouse”), Naomi Aki (“Star Wars: Skayvistor. Climbing”, “Clippie twice”), Stephen Yang (“Minari”, “Noua”, series ” (“Inheritance”, “Knives Nepa”) and Mark Ruffalo (“Poor creatures”, franchise “Avengers”).
He made the film Oscar-winning screenwriter and director of the Parasite movie Pon Jun-Ho, also known for the ribbons “Snowburge” (not to be confused with the eponymous series) and “Okcha”.
Mickey 17 World Prime Minister was held at the Berlin Film Festival on February 15, 2025, where he received approval reviews of critics.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 7.4 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it received 89% of critics approval. At the same time, at Metacritic, cinema experts rated it at 76 out of 100 points, which corresponds to the characteristics of “In general positive feedback”.

Porcelain warPorcelain War (Ukraine, USA, Australia, 2024, Documentary/Military)
The main characters of the film are three Kharkiv artists: Glory Leontiev, his wife Anya Stasenko and their friend Andrey Stefanov. Despite the constant shelling and threat from the Russian troops, they remain in the frontline and continue to create fragile porcelain figures. In this way, they not just retain art, but turn ruins into a space of beauty and resistance.
The film was directed by Slava Leontiev (he is one of her main characters) and American Brendan Bellomo (the winner of the Student Prize of the American Film Academy for 2009 for the movie “Live Story”).
This tape was one of the five applicants for the Oscar-2025 in the “Best Documentary” category, but as a result, it was obviously more relevant to Palestinian-Israeli’s academics “There is no other land”-and for the second year in a row, they would hardly give a movie about war in Ukraine. However, critics have appreciated the “porcelain war”, and it was the number of nominees that is a wonderful distinction.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 7.1 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it received 95% of the Criticists with Certified Freshness and 98% of the audience. At the same time, at Metacritic, movie experts rated it at 73 out of 100 points, and a wide audience – 7.9 of 10 points, which in both cases corresponds to the characteristic “generally positive feedback”.

According to the film, one night a meteorite crashed into the zoo and launched a virus that turned animals into strange and funny saliva zombie-mutants. The young amazing wolf Gray is united with a rough and formidable mountain lion to find the way to her flock. They have to develop a plan to bring all animals back to normal. Together with the help of a diverse team of those surviving: obsessed with movie films Ksavier, fiery Kapibara Frieda, sarcastic fabulous ostrich Ash and treacherous monkey Felix – go to a dangerous mission to save the zoo and win the rabbit of Zero.

Royal adventuresPyšná princezna (Czech Republic, 2024, Comedy/Adventures/Animation/Family)
In one little kingdom, the good king had two problems: a beautiful but very arrogant daughter-Princess, who did not agree to marry, and traitors who sought to give the girl for a slack and take away power. And only one wonderful prince from the neighboring mighty kingdom fell in love with her without his senses, so he decided to curb the heart of a haze and save the crown. Under the guise of the gardener, he got to the palace, and when the royal advisers revealed a plan -dangerous plan for their reign, fled with the princess. They are waiting for a full journey. And the princess does not even suspect that the gardener she escapes is the king.

House with a witchI Will Never Leave You Alone (USA, 2023, Horror)
The main character of the film after release from prison is forced to settle in a house with ghosts to clean him from spirits. If he leaves, he will return to the prison, but the witch can be more punishment than he can withstand.

TasteDelicious (Germany, 2025, thriller)
At the center of the film’s plot is a wealthy German family, who, while vacation in the idyllic terrain in France, gets into a young hotel worker who is carrying ominous plans.
The main roles in the tape were played by Austrian actress Valerie Pakhner, also known for international hits “Hidden Life”, “Kingsman: Beginning” and “Fantastic Beasts: Mysteries of Dumbledore”, and German actor Fahri Yudym, the most famous for the series “Berlin Dogs”.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 5.9 out of 10 points.
