The Russians once again targeted the power structure, trying to freeze the civilian population.

This was reported by its service company “Euro-Reconstruction” LLC. Currently, specialists are conducting an inspection of the object and working out methods of restoring its operation.
Most likely, it was CHP-4 in Darnytsia that was visited today by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. This is evidenced by a post of a government official published in Telegram.
“Together with NATO Secretary General Mark Rütte, today they visited one of the Kyiv thermal power plants, which was attacked by Russia that night. They showed Mr. Rütte the terrible consequences of this attack. The enemy launched a missile attack on the energy facility that provides heat to the city’s residents. It is a civilian facility,” Shmyhal reports.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasizes that the shelling was deliberate and took place exactly when the temperature dropped to the lowest mark of -25°C.
“In the conversation with Mr. Rutte, they emphasized the importance of strengthening the protection of heat and electricity supply facilities. Air defense systems and their missiles. It is important to ensure the timely supply of weapons, because Russia is increasing its production. They also discussed cooperation in countering cyber threats in the energy sector,” he added.
It should be noted that the Darnytsia CHP is the oldest of the operating CHPs in Kyiv. It provides heating for more than 1,000 houses in the Darnytsia and Dnipro districts of the capital.
