Important events and public holidays are traditionally met with the company of 1+1 Ukraine. The thirty -fourth Independence Day will not be an exception. The whole weekend of August 23-24 is waiting for viewers of Ukrainian films and performances of favorite stars.
Konotop Witch
On August 23, at the midnight, the TV premier of the most passing Ukrainian Mountain “Konotop Witch” will be held at 1+1.
At the center of the plot is an ancient witch from Konotop, who, having fallen in love with an ordinary guy, has long renounced her witch forces. But after the war, Russian soldiers capture the city and brutally kill her lover, decide to take revenge, return her forces and collapses the horrific punishments on her bridegroom. What is the Ukrainian woman who has returned ancient forces?

Breakfast with 1+1. Special Air For Independence Day of Ukraine
On August 24, at 10:30 the team “Breakfast with 1+1” will show a special broadcast dedicated to Ukraine Independence Day. It will unite the stories of people and cities that create the future of the country every day, work, help others, impress and inspire not only Ukraine but the whole world.
Leading Lyudmila Barbir, Ruslan Senichkin, Nelya Shovkoplyas and Yegor Gordeev will work from a special location of the open air. The Gomin Choir will be opened, which conquered the network with Stepan Giga. Especially for viewers “Breakfast with 1+1” they prepare a musical surprise that was filmed in the Lviv Organ Hall.
On August 24, the spectators will be waiting for the stories about those who hold independence on their shoulders – military, rescuers, educators, entrepreneurs and other indomitable Ukrainians; direct inclusion from key locations; Musical performances and more. In particular, along with Superhumans Center, the presenters bake the pie of independence – a symbol of unity and belief that small gestures create great power. And Konstantin Grubich communicates with one of the communities that will accept partner community from the frontline.

On August 24, at 6:30 pm – TV premier of the romantic comedy “Vacation Blind” with Daniel Salem and Tatiana Malkova in the lead roles.

On Independence Day at 22:30 TV channel 1+1 Ukraine will show the concert “Music Platform of Ukraine”. Top Ukrainian performers will gather on one stage to unite Ukrainians and give them their favorite hits. Among the performers: Alexander Ponomarev, Tik, Melovin, Discoman, Tonya Matvienko, Mikhail Homa.
