Amazon showed a new teaser for the adaptation of Like a Dragon / Photo – Amazon PrimeAlong with the preparation of Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirate in Hawaii, the Yakuza series will also receive a film adaptation. Amazon Prime has released new material regarding the adaptation of Like a Dragon, which was announced back in JuneIn the 40-second teaser, Amazon introduced the main characters: Kazuma Kiryu (Remu Takeuchi), Akira Nishikiyama (Kenta Kaku), and Horo Majima (Munetaka Aoki).
The spectacular cut in the trailer shows underground battles, a chase in a parking lot and a shootout in the middle of the city.
The plot of the adaptation is based on the first part of the series, but the screenwriters allow disagreements with the original. The directors were Take Masaharu and Takimoto Kengo.
The premiere of the screen version is scheduled for October 25. Then the first three episodes will be released, three more will be available to watch on November 3. So far, only one season has been announced, which will cover the events of the first part of the game. The continuation of the series will depend on the reaction of the audience. The adaptation will be released on Amazon Prime.
