The American reality star, 44, whose family’s show on Hulu is a front runner in the industry, exposed herself as a fan of the ITV dating show.
In a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, the family were on holiday in Italy when Kim made the confession.
They were seen exploring their hotel as Kim revealed her desire to catch up on Love Island while they were there.
‘I just said, “Do they have a big TV so we can chill and watch Love Island?”‘ Kim said to her family.
‘And they do!’ Kim added excitedly of being able to watch her favourite show while abroad.
But Kim isn’t the first in her family to reveal an unexpected love for a British reality show.
Back in October, Kylie Jenner shocked fans when she revealed the Great British Bake Off is her favourite show.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 27, admitted in a vlog on TikTok that she loves the baking show and even confessed to crying while catching up on Caramel Week’s episodes.
Kylie – who was travelling back to LA after promoting her Sprinter vodka soda in NYC – lay in bed on her private jet eating doughnuts while catching up on the BBC show on her iPad.
She said: ‘Watching my favourite show, the Great British Baking show and it’s Caramel Week. Fully crying.’
During the chaotic episode that Kylie was catching up on, Mike was the baker to be eliminated from the competition.
After a difficult time during Caramel Week, the farmer fell at the final hurdle after his caramel cake was deemed closer to a tiramisu by the judges.
Inspired by his boyfriend’s favourite cinema and and the baking star’s favourite cocktail, Mike created a salted coffee caramel-inspired creation which saw several coffee-flavoured cake layers smeared with caramel mousse.
The stunning creation was topped with caramel popcorn shards but unfortunately Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith felt the whole concoction missed the mark.
Speaking to the camera after hearing the news of his eviction, the bakers said it was his time to go.
Following the GBBO episode during Autumn Week, viewers shared their anguish after a show favourite was sent home when she failed to impress.
Nelly, who has proved popular throughout series 15 of the show, landed in the bottom two after struggling with her seasonal bakes on Tuesday’s episode.
Palliative care assistant Nelly, 44, has become the sixth contestant to leave the Channel 4 show, in the same week that Sumayah was named Star Baker.
The contestants faced three seasonal-based challenges including a sweet autumn-inspired pie signature for their first task.
They then faced a vegan technical and were asked to make parkin and before creating cakes celebrating seasonal vegetables for their showstopper.
After her exit was announced, Nelly said: ‘It’s not commiseration, it is a positive, I am so ready to leave.
‘I never ever thought I would get to round six! I know my children are so proud.’
