The Almost Famous star, 46, posted a makeup-free photo of herself getting ready with her glam squad in a hotel room as she juggled work on a laptop.
Hudson had on only sweatpants and a tiny bra in the snap, which put her enviably ripped abs on full display.
Included in her IG slideshow was a recent glamour shot of Kylie Jenner, 28, posing in only a busty black bra and underwear while drinking wine in a lavish hotel room.
Hudson jokingly captioned the post: ‘Basically the same @kyliejenner’
While Kylie has yet to acknowledge the post, Hudson did earn a ‘like’ from the billionaire’s big sister Kendall Jenner, 29.
Fans of Hudson were quick to praise her, with her Running Point co-star Brenda Song even declaring the mother-of-three ‘hotter’ than Kylie.
Several fans also praised Hudson’s ‘natural beauty.’
This isn’t the first time Hudson has associated herself with the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Last year, she, her A-list actress mom Goldie Hawn and their family posed for a holiday campaign for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS line.
In addition to Hudson’s three kids Ryder Robinson, 21, Bingham Bellamy, 14, and Rani Hudson Fujikawa, 7, and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, Hawn’s eldest child, son, Oliver Hudson, 49, his wife, Erinn Bartlett, and their three children Wilder, 18, Bodhi, 15, and daughter Rio, 12, were all featured in the festive ad, which was released in November 2024.
In the images, the happy family wore various sets of matching pajamas and could be seen posing up a storm, indulging in different desserts and getting into a little mischief inside a mansion.
Both Hudson and Kardashian eagerly shared the campaign with their millions of Instagram followers at the time, with the latter writing: ‘Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson & Family for SKIMS’
However, the campaign sparked backlash for Kardashian as fans labeled the ad ‘out of touch’ due to its lavishness and it being released amid the tense 2024 United States presidential election, which was won by Donald Trump.
Neither Kardashian or Hudson ever responded to the criticism surrounding the ad.
Hudson’s Wednesday selfie came hours before she was set to hit the red carpet at a major Hollywood soiree.
The starlet attended the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation’s Pioneer Dinner, which was held at the The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
The annual event honored Hudson as their 2025 Pioneer of the Year.
‘A tradition for more than 75 years, the Pioneer of the Year Award is bestowed upon esteemed and respected members in the motion picture industry whose leadership, service to the community, and commitment to philanthropy are exceptional,’ the official Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation website reads.
The award is considered ‘among the most prestigious honors in the entertainment industry and the philanthropic community.’
Along with honoring Hudson, the Pioneer Dinner raised money for the WRMPPF’s Pioneers Assistance Fund, which ‘provides financial assistance and supportive counseling to individuals in the motion picture distribution and exhibition community in times of need.’
To accept her prestigious award, Hudson channeled Old Hollywood glamour in a baby blue mermaid-style gown.
The strapless number accentuated her tiny waist as she posed for photos on the red carpet.
Her signature sandy blonde hair was styled in a classic updo and she was decked out in sparkling diamond jewels.
As for her makeup, the Fool’s Gold star smiled through bright pink lips and amped up her hazel eyes with smudged eyeliner and generous coats of mascara.
