Jerry Heil has released a new song and YouTube clip / screenshotThe popular Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil presented the new song Earth (Dradada) and the music video for it immediately after the mass shelling of Ukrainian cities. The singer explained why she decided not to postpone the premiere.
The new work of the artist draws attention to the important topic of today – humanitarian demining of the territory of Ukraine. This is a social track about the revival of the country after the war. In the song, the artist says that the truth is a weapon, and the love and power of the people help to survive the horrors of war.
“I would not be able to publish any other work today. I am currently at a conference in Japan dedicated to the importance of demining Ukraine. We decided not to change the release date of this video, because we hope to once again emphasize the price of our freedom,” Jerry Heil said in the description of the clip.
The clip for the song Earth (Dradada) was created by the famous Ukrainian clip maker Alan Badoyev, with whom Jerry Heil has been collaborating for a long time on the upcoming concert show. In the video, the singer symbolically shows the cleansing of the earth by women who bring light and rebirth, and the motif of the sunrise in the song is a symbol of new life after the darkness brought by war.
“In this clip, Jerry Hale appears in harmony with Ukrainian traditions and ancient rites. Her dance is like a prayer to the earth, which mourns the past and awakens to life, reminding us of the importance of demining our native land,” commented the director of the clip, Alan Badoev.
