Jennifer Lawrence revealed Wednesday how she managed to accidentally take prescription drugs while filming two different movies.

In 2017, the 35-year-old Oscar winner meant to take a sleeping pill before shooting the spy thriller Red Sparrow, but she wound up ‘taking an Adderall instead.’

‘Then I didn’t sleep all night and I was taking hot showers, panic, because I am not somebody who can function without sleep,’ Lawrence recalled on CNN/Variety’s Actors on Actors.

‘And then I had to say “senate arms services committee” in a Russian accent. That sucked.’

Five years earlier, the Kentucky-born blonde accidentally took an Ambien ‘thinking it was something else’ and had to shoot The Hunger Games: Catching Fire dancing scene at the Capitol party with Philip Seymour Hoffman.

‘I was hallucinating,’ Lawrence groaned.

‘And Elizabeth Banks got really annoyed with me. Maybe she didn’t know that I was on an Ambien, but I kept asking the director [Francis Lawrence], “Wait, and what does this mean? Wait, and what does this mean and what does that mean?”

‘And she just threw her sides and was just like, “Fine, let’s just keep talking about it!”‘

Speaking of drugs, the Zurawski v Texas producer then grilled Leonardo DiCaprio about the time over 50 members of the Titanic cast and crew – including director James Cameron and actor Bill Paxton – were poisoned with PCP-laced lobster chowder in 1996.

‘There was a conga line that formed and people were dancing. Well, and a lot people went to the hospital. Well, they thought that it was a neurotoxin from the chowder. Why did somebody dose everyone and why would they waste drugs?’ Lawrence marveled.

The 51-year-old Oscar winner replied that he ‘wasn’t there’ and shockingly confessed: ‘I haven’t seen [Titanic].’

The Bread & Roses producer then urged him: ‘Oh you should…it’s so good!’

Lawrence and DiCaprio famously headlined Netflix’s Don’t Look Up in 2021, and they’re teaming up again on Martin Scorsese’s horror film What Happens at Night about an American couple adopting a European baby.

Apple Original Films is in talks to finance and produce the big-screen adaptation of Peter Cameron’s 2023 ghost story novel with Studiocanal – according to Deadline.

‘Are you really excited to work with me again?’ the Excellent Cadaver founder asked, and the Appian Way Productions founder replied: ‘Yes, I am.’

DiCaprio also urged Lawrence to ‘buy a DVD player’ so she can watch all the reference films the 83-year-old filmmaker would inevitably be providing for research

For his role as washed-up revolutionary Bob Ferguson in One Battle After Another, the former child star is nominated for a Critics Choice Award (airing January 4 on E!) and a Golden Globe Award (airing January 11 on CBS)

On December 10, THR reported that the three-time Golden Globe winner and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in Francis Lawrence’s 2026 prequel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.

And last year, Apple Original Films acquired the Real Housewives-inspired murder mystery The Wives, which the avid Bravo watcher will star in and produce.
