The 40-year-old rapper-turned-country country singer took to his Instagram on Tuesday as he once again put his incredible transformation on display.
The talented musician (born Jason Bradley DeFord) cheekily captioned it to his 5.5million followers: ‘AI is getting crazy these days.’
However, his 45-year-old wife’s comment certainly may have overshadowed his funny caption as she spicily wrote: ‘Let’s clone your bone.’
Bunnie Xo’s (born Alisa DeFord) comment was a reference to a TikTok she had posted days ago which was a short clip of her with her famous husband captioned: ‘When ppl think your husband is a clone because he lost weight & his “tattoos don’t match.”‘
On Sunday, Jelly Roll looked thinner than ever as his massive weight loss has hit new lows.
The musician – who recently shaved his beard for the first time in a decade – proudly showcased his shock body transformation as he attended a Tennessee Titans game in Nashville on Sunday.
The highly popular singer had the jaws of fans dropping as he looked gaunt at the NFL game where the Seattle Seahawks were the visiting team.
Jelly Roll showcased his slimline physique in a black Titans hoodie with a matching backwards cap.
The star seemed to be in good spirits as he chatted up running back Julius Chestnut and Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk.
Meanwhile, the star recently shocked his wife Bunnie XO after shaving his beard for the first time in a decade this month.
But her reaction paled in comparison to how his teenage daughter Bailee Ann responded when he unveiled his new clean-shaven look.
In a video posted Thursday on YouTube, the 40-year-old rapper-turned-country music superstar shared his beard-shearing journey in more detail and shocked his daughter into a hilariously over-the-top reaction.
He opened the video by revealing how his weight-loss journey had prompted him to change up his appearance.
‘At this point, I’m sure some of y’all are exhausted about hearing about my weight loss, but a lot of things change when you start losing weight and you realize things,’ the hitmaker began his video, referencing how he has shed nearly 200 pounds in recent months.
Jelly Roll admitted that his weight-loss journey had prompted him to imagine what he would look like without his facial hair.
‘I’ve had a beard to try to cover up my double chin, which I still am clearly going to have a double chin,’ he admitted, before explaining that he hadn’t been clean shaven in a decade.
‘The last time my face was shaved, I was fresh out of jail. I got a feeling I’m going to look like a Ninja Turtle, but I’m going to shave my f***ing face and go surprise my family!’ he enthused.
Though the singer had tipped off his wife about his plans to shave, he explained in the video that he didn’t warn his daughter Bailee Ann, whom he shares with a former partner.
‘My daughter’s going to see me without a beard for the first time ever,’ he said.
Jelly Roll had pixelated footage of him shaving, and he hadn’t previously shown footage of himself clean shaven, so viewers were still in the dark as to how he looked when he set out to surprise his daughter.
A comical sense of dread built in the video as the handheld footage showed Jelly Roll calling out to a clueless Bailee and strolling into the kitchen to find her.
The second the 17-year-old saw her father and his new look, a shocked expression ran across her face, and she turned away from the camera.
‘Stay over there!’ she shouted after peeking over her shoulder again, but Jelly Roll kept advancing.
‘Oh my God! I’m gonna cry, I don’t like this!’ Bailee Ann screamed while clutching herself and breaking out into tears of laughter.
‘You look like a turtle!’ she exclaimed, just as her dad feared.
‘Oh, I don’t like this,’ she added while covering her face with her hands and dabbing at her tears, even as she continued to laugh.
‘I don’t know if I’m laughing, or if this is me sad,’ she said through chuckles and tears before hunching over.
Jelly Roll started to say something in response, but at the first word she started laughing again and waved him away, before the video cut to another scene of him outdoors on his farm property in Tennessee, where he finally revealed his beardless face.
‘By now, you have probably figured out that I look like a Ninja Turtle,’ the I Am Not Okay singer joked. ‘Um, yeah, this was crazy.
‘You know, one of the reasons I even started growing a beard was cause I was so obese. It was just easier to cover up what was happening here, you know,’ he said, gesturing toward his chin and neck.
Jelly Roll — who titled the video ‘How I REALLY Feel About The Grammys…’ — then took the opportunity to express his gratitude at the three nominations he received earlier this month.
Jelly Roll is nominated in two country music categories — Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his Shaboozey duet Amen — as well as for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for the song Hard Fought Hallelujah, a collaboration with Brandon Lake.
Jelly Roll previously revealed that he had shaved his beard last week, when his wife Bunnie Xo, 45, shared her reaction to it in an Instagram clip.
In the video, the blond podcaster said: ‘You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, [and] I have never seen this man without his facial hair. Not one freaking time.’
She then said, ‘My husband, in honor of his shoot that he did today, is going to shave off his beard completely, because now that he’s so skinny — look at that freaking jawline — we wanna see that jawline, right, ladies?’
Ahead of the facial hair removal, Jelly Roll joked, ‘We’re trying to see if a facelift might be in order.’
Bunnie refused to look until all the hair was removed, repeating, ‘I’m not looking. I’m not looking, okay?’
She told her followers, ‘He tried to just show me, [but] I’m not looking until it’s all done,’ and then, ‘He just kicked me out of the room.’
Bunnie eventually returned to witness her husband’s beard go from a goatee to a ‘cop mustache,’ which she found particularly attractive.
She complimented her longtime love, telling him he looked ‘so fine’ and branding them both ‘fire.’
But when he was fully shaven she covered her mouth in shock, and said, ‘The total naked face, it’s not terrible.’
The couple went on to FaceTime loved ones to unveil the hitmaker’s fresh face, sharing the shocked reactions.
One person said, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna cry,’ and another added, ‘What the f***? I am scared.’
However, Jelly Roll — real name Jason DeFord — did not debut his hairless face at the time.
With fans eager for the big reveal, Bunnie wrote online, ‘Hey guys, he will show y’all when he’s ready ❤️.’
It comes after Jelly Roll displayed his shrinking body over the summer when he guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The musician has been slowly melting off weight and last December he shared his health and fitness goal — landing the cover of Men’s Health magazine.
‘I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026. That’s my new goal,’ he announced on his wife’s Dumb Blonde podcast.
The star declared: ‘I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.’
He added that he was ‘so glad’ to be having the discussion in front of an audience.
‘I did this publicly for a reason. I wanna be honest about my struggles with it with people,’ he noted.
Jelly Roll explained about body image and fame, ‘I think that people that become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they’re kind of ashamed.
‘They’re so ashamed that they go hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out [and] they don’t really know how to interact with the world looking different or feeling different, and they kinda gotta find their whole new way.
‘I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it.’
