The crew of the brigade stressed that the Armed Forces actually have several such artsystems, one of which received the mouth of fire support of the 3rd OSHBR. At the same time, Defense Express says that such a video can be considered more than news, because so far, social networks only twice mentioned the M-240 at the disposal of the Ukrainian army, namely in 2022 and 2024.
According to them, even in such cases, there were unknown data on what units used these Soviet 240 mm mortars.
“The indication that the Armed Forces has several M -240 seems to be particularly important: for a long time, it has been assuming that such mortar in our military is in a single copy, which was taken in general from the exposition of the Second World War Museum in Kiev, but then it turned out that the original exhibit is.
At the same time, after that, the basic version was so – most likely, some M -240 could be on storage bases and in reserves of military universities of Ukraine, so from there, these artillery systems were sent to Ukrainian units, experts say.

Analysts also spoke about the characteristics of M-240:

- The towing of the artsystem occurs at speeds of up to 40 km/h,
- The mortar service is 11 people.

According to him, the emergence of such missiles in the defense forces will significantly increase the possibility of the Armed Forces for the task of blows into Russian rear.
At the same time, military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov called the main drawback of Ukrainian long -range drones. He noted that this drawback lies in the size of the combat unit, so such drones cannot be translated into strategic war in the short term.
