The events of the film take place in modern Kyiv.
The romantic comedy “Probationary Term” will be released in Ukrainian theaters already on January 8 — earlier than the planned date. To fuel interest in the premiere, the creators presented the official trailer and the main poster of the film, which already hint: a bright love story with topical humor awaits the audience.
The trailer reveals the dynamics of the relationship between the main characters (Kateryna Kuznetsova and Kyrylo Parastayev), the scale of the story and the romantic tension that gradually unfolds between the characters. Viewers can expect office battles, a bright picture, witty dialogues, unexpected turns, friendly conspiracies and moments in which it is easy to recognize yourself. The special sound and romantic atmosphere of the trailer is added by the super hit from the singer DOROFEEVA — the song Heartbeat.
Kateryna Kuznetsova and Kyrylo Parastaev formed an organic and modern duet on the screen – with chemistry, irony and lively emotions. The viewer will also see the powerful interaction of Ukrainian stars: Vyacheslav Dovzhenka, Irma Vitovska, Dmytro Tankovich, Andrii Isaenko, Tetiana Malkova, Ivan Sharan, Marichka Khomenko, Daria Petrozhytska, Elena Uzlyuk, Taras Tsimbalyuk, Viktor Zhdanov — and not only that.
Special attention is drawn to the official poster of the film, which visually conveys the main conflict of the story: the clash of ambitions, characters and feelings, while at the same time conveys lightness, humor and positivity, which are so timely now. In the center is a confrontation between two strong personalities, for whom the probationary period becomes much more than just a test of professionalism.
“This film is about you and me. It is warm, bright, modern, made with great love for the audience. The trailer shows that this is not just a romantic comedy – there are laughs, tears, and a lot of authenticity here. This is a story about second chances, about love and the fact that a new start is possible under any circumstances,” comments Anna, the producer of the tape and the head of investment and partnership projects of TV business 1+1 media potter
The events of the film take place in modern Kyiv – among offices, coffee shops and familiar streets. It is here that the heroes experience competition, fall in love, make mistakes and learn to trust not only each other, but also themselves.
“For me, “Probationary Period” is a story about being honest with yourself. About the fear of being vulnerable and the courage to still allow yourself to love,” says director Iryna Gromozda.
The romantic comedy “Probationary Term” from 1+1 media and SFERA FILM will be released in Ukraine on January 8, 2026.
