She is Embeth Davidtz.
The Los Angeles resident was spotted walking through a parking lot on Thursday afternoon as she ran errands.
Dressed casually in a white T-shirt with a dark gray cardigan and black jeans with white Adidas sneakers, she looked youthful.
Her hair was pulled back and she had light makeup on as she chatted on her cell phone.
The artist has also appeared in the box-office successes Matilda, Bridget Jones’ Diary and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Davidtz has worked extensively on the small screen, too, as she has popped up in In Treatment, Californication and Mad Men.
Davidtz was born in Lafayette, Indiana then moved to New Jersey and finally South Africa.
She started acting in Cape Town, South Africa where she did theater. Her film debut came in 1988 as she landed a supporting role in the horror movie Mutator. Next came the TV movie A Private Life.
Director Steven Spielberg noticed her performance in the 1992 South African film, Nag van die Negentiende, and offered her the role of Helen Hirsch in Schindler’s List.
Then her career took off.
In 1992, Davidtz played the part of Sheila in Army Of Darkness alongside Bruce Campbell. In 1995, the performer worked on the true-story film Murder In The First with Christian Slater, and then the indie flick Feast Of July.
She starred with Danny DeVito in the children’s movie Matilda in 1996, which became a big hit and an instant classic.

Next came a starring role opposite Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara in 2011’s blockbuster The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
