A computer, a smartphone and an umbrella – all that was in the first office of Kojima Production.
After Kojima left Konami in 2015, he announced the creation of his own independent studio, Kojima Productions. The game designer didn’t have much money at the start, so all he was able to bring to his office, which was already a small room, was a laptop, a monitor, a Playstation 4, headphones, a notebook, a mug, books and an umbrella, the game designer shared in on your Twitter.
The first office of Kojima ProductionsKojima said that he needed the PS4 to watch movies on Blu-Ray, and his main work was done on a smartphone, where he wrote most of the concepts for the studio’s debut game – Death Stranding.
Hideo also noted that the room was so small that he worked there alone.
But time passed, Death Stranding became a big success for the studio, and Kojima Productions could afford to move to a more spacious office.
Current office of Kojima ProductionsDeath Stranding recently turned 5 years old. Kojima personally thanked the players for continuing to keep the game alive, and also urged to wait for more news about the sequel.
