According to Medvedev, Europe wants war / photo – screenshotFormer President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmytro Medvedev, published a video of the Oreshnik ballistic missile hitting the Lviv region. On his page in the X social network, he added a scathing comment about Europe to this video clip.

“The ruling European idiots still want a war in Europe. It has been said a thousand times: Russia will not accept any European or NATO troops in Ukraine, but no, Macron (French President Emmanuel Macron – UNIAN) continues to spread this pathetic nonsense. Well, let’s go. This is what you will get,” wrote Medvedev.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that this was allegedly a response to Ukraine’s “attack” on the residence of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Valdai.

Earlier, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported that the Russians had struck a critical infrastructure facility in the Lviv region. The Air Command “West” of the Air Force of the Armed Forces shared that the air target was moving at a speed of about 13,000 km/h along the ballistic trajectory.

The strike by “Oreshnik” on the Lviv region is a challenge not only for UkraineEarlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that Russia’s demonstrative use of Oreshnik near the borders of the European Union is a challenge for Warsaw and many other capitals. He emphasized that everyone should understand that if the Russians “don’t even try to come up with a plausible reason for using such weapons, you can’t hide from it with personal connections or any rhetoric.”

The President also called for the organization of a system of joint actions, a system of joint protection, in order to respond decisively to such threats.
