After breaking out on Scream Queens, he became a full-fledged movie star with box-office hits like Top Gun: Maverick and the rom-com smash Anyone But You, opposite Sydney Sweeney. With his rising fame has come plenty of attention on his love life, from rumored on-set chemistry with Twisters co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones (who has been dating photographer Ben Sneed since 2023) to his high-profile relationship with model Gigi Paris, who opened up about their split in a June 2025 interview.
Now, Powell is back in the headlines after sparking a new connection with Landman actress Michelle Randolph — a relationship insiders describe as “casual” and low-key.
Here’s a deep dive into Glen’s past relationships and romantic history below.
Nina Dobrev

Glen and The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev enjoyed a short-lived romance back in 2017. News of their relationship broke when affectionate pics from a photo booth at pal Julianne Hough‘s lavish Idaho wedding to Brooks Laich surfaced in July of that year. But according to People, they’d been dating since January of 2017.
They later attended a Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle‘s party in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Globe Awards that November, then spent Thanksgiving apart. A source told E! News for a November 30, 2017 report that they were taking some time apart, due to Nina’s busy schedule.
“She’s filming a lot,” one source said at the time, noting that there hadn’t been a definitive breakup. “There hasn’t been an official ‘split’ but Nina and Glen have been taking time apart,” they said. “Nina just wrapped on a project and is about to start another and her schedule has been a huge part of it. They haven’t been spending much time together since the end of the summer.” Another insider added that there hadn’t been major fights leading up to the break, and noted that Glen is a “very easy-going dude.”
Nina and her current partner, Shaun White, ironically made their red-carpet debut at the premiere of Glen’s biggest film to date, Top Gun: Maverick, in May 2022. The couple got engaged in October 2024.
Renee Bargh
In November of 2018, Us Weekly reported that Glen had begun dating Extra TV host Renee Bargh. An insider reportedly told the outlet at the time that they’d been dating for six months and that “Renee has been staying at Glen’s place.” They reportedly partied on Nov 9 of that year at an 80s themed birthday bash at L.A.’s famed Casamigos. Once again, ex Nina made an appearance at the shindig.
Little is known about the interim, but in November of 2019, Renee confirmed in a Daily Mail interview that they were no longer an item. “I am currently single,” she told the outlet.
Gigi Paris
It’s unclear when the gorgeous model and actor began dating, but by January of 2020, it was pretty clear they were an item, as they were seen on vacation together in Punta Mita, Mexico, according to PopSugar. Paris and Glen confirmed the whole thing the following Valentine’s Day in 2021, sharing a sweet Instagram post to his account. Alongside a pic of the couple on dirt bikes, Glen wrote, “My Ride or Die. Happy Valentines Day, y’all!” Gigi shared an “almost kiss” pic via her own Instagram account the same day. “Here’s to you,” she wrote alongside a red heart emoji.
They made official appearances together at Coachella in 2022, as well as at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere. Sadly, in April 2023, rumors of trouble in paradise emerged for the couple, and on April 26, Gigi seemingly confirmed she and Glen had split with an Instagram message about “knowing your worth.”
During a June 2025 appearance on the “Too Much” podcast, Gigi did not hold back in sharing her side of the breakup with Glen. Without naming him or Sydney, she made it clear whom she was referring to while talking about a former boyfriend whose film affected their relationship. It was likely that Gigi was referring to how Glen and Sydney let the romance rumors about them rise while promoting Anyone But You.
“It was just, ‘This is what I have to do for my job,’” Gigi said, seemingly about Glen. “I had two options. I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, ‘Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f**k?’ Or stand up for myself and say, ‘No, I’m actually not OK with this, and I’m walking away.’ So, that’s what I decided to do … I was shattered.”
While adding that she “just wanted respect,” Gigi said, “Like, don’t make an ass out of me. Like, just don’t make a fool out of someone you’ve been with for over three years talking about forever with. Just have some decency, you know? And at the end of the day, it was like, well, work comes first. And if that’s the case, power to you, that’s your priority. I gotta walk away. What sucked was how it was handled. I felt like I was just fed to the dogs.”
“Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, ‘No, I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I wouldn’t do that.’ That’s all that needed to be said,” Gigi pointed out. “And that wasn’t said … Never once. … It was serving them for their PR. Later on, it turned out that it was all, I don’t know if there was a relationship there or not, but then they came out to say it was all a PR scheme at the expense of our relationship. Like, it was just crazy.”
Gigi ended her remarks about the breakup by saying she “hoped” that Glen and Sydney wound up together “because I was like, at least it would make it worth it for me, you know? I hope they are in love or whatnot.”
Daisy Edgar-Jones 
Presley Ann/Getty Images for CTAOP Daisy and Glen worked together on the set of Twisters, and they’ve sparked relationship rumors. Although the actors have not confirmed whether or not they’re in a relationship, they teased how their “first date” went during a July 2024 interview with People.
“What made me laugh was Daisy came in this very chic outfit with a scarf and all these different things,” Glen said while recalling a day on the set of Twisters. “Cut to — that was the last time I saw Daisy dressed up. We wore sweatpants for the rest of the shoot.”
Daisy then joked, “I made so much effort for that first date.”
Sydney Sweeney
Sydney and Glen made it clear they were not dating while promoting their rom-com, Anyone But You. However, romance rumors were reignited in March 2025 after reports emerged that Sydney had postponed her wedding to fiancé Jonathan Davino. Jonathan and Sydney got engaged in 2022.
Michelle Randolph Glen has recently been linked to actress Michelle Randolph. According to insiders, the two began “casually seeing” each other around October 2025, per US Weekly. They were spotted dancing together at a bar in Austin, Texas, where a video captured them close and comfortable on the dance floor.
Though their romance is described as “new” and low-key, sources say Michelle has already met some of Glen’s family.
