Before the war, the city was hosted by thousands of tourists every year, and now even local ones seem to be left here.

One of these victims of the Russian occupation was the town of Primorsk in the Berdyansk district of Zaporizhzhya region. Prior to a full -scale war, about 12,000 people lived here, and in the summer months much more, as the city was popular with tourists.
In February 2022, shortly before the Russian invasion, it was even announced to build the largest water park in Primorsky. However, these plans will no longer come true.
Recently, fresh footage appeared on the network, which filmed the current view of the city – as of May 15, 2025. And these footage showed that the tourist sector is just dead there.
Since Primorsk was occupied without a fight, the city did not suffer. Throughout the war, except for its first days, the front line was very far from the city, so the fighting could in no way affect the daily life of Primorsk.
The footage, shot in the city center, showed that at least the middle of the city is quite well -groomed. However, people are almost out of the streets. Although it is a very center. In addition, it was shot on May 15 – on this date, the tourist season should already be rapidly gaining momentum. However, tourists are not visible anywhere.
In general, it seems that there are not only resorts in the city but also local residents – so empty now looks once noisy Primorsk.
The situation in the occupied territoriesAccording to UNIAN, the Russians destroyed the main pride of Melitopols – a large cherry garden in the city center.
We also told how the beaches of occupied Kirillovka look now – once perhaps the most popular resort on the Azov Sea.
