In total, the Ukrainian moviegoers will show the six of the best new films from Switzerland.

According to Arthous Traffic press service, the festival program this year included a scientific and fiction thriller about artificial intelligence, a sports drama about the salvation workers of migrants with host families.

Bison Bisons, 2024, Sport/Drama, director Pierre Monnar
The sports drama will open the festival that tells the Swiss champion from a wrestling, which is faced with a difficult choice: the brother convinces him to participate in underground battles to save the family farm. In an effort to keep the house, the guy plunges into the world of strict rules, where the price of victory can be too high.
The film made six nominations on the national film award of Switzerland, of which he won three, including the award for the best male role for Karim Barras.

Based on real events, the film reveals a tragic personal history against the backdrop of the struggle for the political equality and rights of women. Her loud business shocks society and asks an uncomfortable question: can a criminal at the same time be a victim?
The film was nominated in three categories for the Swiss National Film April and won one of them – for the female role of the background for Rachel Braunshweig.
