Today, October 27, the deadline for submitting applications for the National Selection-2026 has ended. Previously, Jamala complained that she almost did not get promising jobs and did not understand what to choose from.
Now the producer’s opinion has changed radically, because the artists listened to her comments. Jamala shared on Telegram that she was finally satisfied with the songs she received.
According to her, there will be many vocalists in this selection season, which makes her very happy. At the same time, according to Jamala, such a number of vocally strong applications indicates the need for the return of talent shows, such as “Voice of the Country”.
“Wow, so many cool songs. I’m very grateful for such frank and sincere songs. It’s very interesting. Obviously, this is the need of “Voice of the Country”, because there are many cool voices, but there is no song. I will have such a selection that everyone sings and I’m very proud of it. I haven’t listened to everything yet. I’m almost on the 300th application now,” the singer said.
Jamala said that she has already listened to almost 300 applications and most of them are devoted to the theme of God.
Recently, there was a scandal surrounding the National Selection with the participation of Olya Polyakova, who tried to change the rules, but to no avail. However, the singer is seriously targeted and filed another complaint.
