The drone can be remotely controlled at a distance of more than two kilometers.
“A small and highly mobile drone can be used for a wide range of tasks. The main function of a robot dog is reconnaissance, both in an open area and at various objects. This significantly reduces the risk for police officers when performing dangerous tasks,” the message says. .
The complex is equipped with a high-resolution video camera and a thermal imager, and can be controlled remotely at a distance of more than two kilometers. It moves quickly and inconspicuously, passes through hard-to-reach places, which will contribute to even more efficient performance of tasks.
In the video released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you can see how the robot moves next to the soldier. At the same time, the actions of the drone resemble the habits of a trained dog – it keeps a certain distance from a person, squats next to him “on command”, goes to the target, which it carefully records and transmits data to its “master”. At the same time, the robot emits sounds that are very reminiscent of a dog howling.
Jobs in service in the Ukrainian armyAs UNIAN reported, with the help of ground robotic complexes (GRCs), the Ukrainian military implements combat tasks at the front, in particular in the Kharkiv region. According to Rodion Kudryashov, deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade (OShBr) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, drones are used in combat operations in addition to the humanitarian direction – delivering ammunition that is needed to the front line, evacuating servicemen from the most intractable corners of the front.
It has come to the point that ground robotic complexes are used as means that implement combat tasks. For example, they create ambushes and detonate in certain places according to the appropriate signal.
