On Tuesday, Katy took the tour to Madrid, Spain, where, following the show, she commemorated the occasion with a tattoo. Fans will know that Katy has a longstanding tradition of getting inked to celebrate each tour she’s been on — this time, she opted for half a butterfly on her left wrist. Katy shared the event with her fans on Instagram, where she boasts a cool 202 million followers. Posting photos and footage of the session, where she was tattooed by artist Berni Coronado Morales, she captioned the post: ‘Can’t believe it’s already time for The Lifetimes Tour tattoos. In slide four of the carousel, Katy shared grainy footage of her holding her wrist up to the camera to show off the butterfly wings. It was accompanied by a mystery person’s right wrist, who also had a half-butterfly tattoo. ‘Omg you and Justin got matching tattoos !! That’s actually so cute, I love the design,’ one person penned, as another said: ‘Oh so cute. However, these rumours were soon shut down, thanks to the aforementioned caption. Katy revealed that it was actually her tour crew who had received the matching tattoos. The tattoo artist wrote: ‘Thank you for joining me in this experience [referring to his team], only with you it was possible and I couldn’t have chosen better! We changed the studio backstage of WiZink Center @movistararenaes to tattoo Katy Perry’s team at the last concert of her European tour.’ Berni dropped another video on his gram, which showed Katy tattooing him with the letter ‘K’.
