The most dangerous for these birds is snowy and frosty winter.

“In the Chernobyl Reserve, the gray partridge is an infrequent guest. It chooses open spaces – meadows, strips, abandoned villages. Settle, holds its territories all year long. A few years ago, it was a rarity to meet a partridge.
It is noted that the groove, similar to the bird’s hen. Unfortunately, they have many natural enemies that hunt on land and in the air. However, the most dangerous for them is snowy and frosty winter: it is difficult to find food during such a period, and they become easy prey for predators.
To survive in the cold, partridges are collected in large flocks – cohesion helps them survive frost and lack of food.
Residents of the Chernobyl ReserveAs UNIAN wrote, scientists recently told about wolves who live in the Chernobyl radiation-ecological biosphere. In particular, in the summer, they may not look as smooth as in the cold. During molting, wolves often have a rather unattractive appearance, especially if the hunt was unsuccessful. However, it is in the warm season that predators get access to more nutrition – the menu includes even fruits and vegetables. Raw and eggs and chicks are eaten by ground birds.
Also near the Chernobyl NPP noticed rare horses of Przewalski. According to scientists, wild horses are very important of feed and comfort for relaxation. Przewalski’s horse is the only kind of wild horses that has survived to this day. It can usually be seen only in zoological parks and reserves.
