The post about his death appeared on the band’s Instagram account on Thursday, June 12. Grisha Chaika was the founder of the band “4ayka”, the first guitarist “Sunsay” and the leader of the band “Kislorod”. Since 2015 he has also worked as a guitar technician and session guitarist “Ocean Elsa”:
“Hrysh Chaika has died. A talented musician, a guitarist of the band 4yka, a participant in our concert team with whom we worked for many years. In the last months, he has struggled with a terrible illness, but God has taken him to himself. Light memory of you, friend.”
The musician’s account can be seen that he fought blood cancer and undergo chemotherapy. The man gave charitable concerts in Kharkiv in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
