Comedian Mark Kutsevalov became the baker of an inclusive bakery: a touching episode of the show In the new edition of the “Mission to Cope” show on the TET TV channel, the host and comedian Mark Kutsevalov tried himself in a completely new role – the baker of the inclusive bakery Good Bread. This is a space where people with mental disabilities, with various developmental characteristics, including autism and Down syndrome, work. Here they get a job, socialize, feel supported and needed.

Mark Kutsevalov tried out the profession of a baker for himself and got fully involved in the work – kneading the dough, forming and baking bread, getting to know the processes and people who are the heart of the bakery. During the existence of the Good People initiative, more than 70 people got a chance for self-realization.

“For people with disabilities, it’s very important to be in some kind of craft, it’s important to do something with your hands. And baking bread gives a fairly quick result. You see what you’re doing, therapy goes through it,” said project founder Vladyslav Malashchenko.

The peculiarity of the bakery is that there are no long stages of training – motivated people are immediately hired as junior bakers, entrusting them with real tasks. Good Bread combines several important social missions at once: it bakes free bread for frontline areas and prepares dinners for the needy in Kyiv.

The new edition of “Mission to cope” is not only about the profession of a baker, but also about a space without prejudice. Watch the premiere this Saturday, January 3, at 10:00 a.m. on TET TV channel, which will not leave you indifferent and once again prove that it is never too late to open up new professional opportunities.
