The project brings together common values - support for quality children’s content, development of film culture, availability of movies for families from all over the country.
Within the 12th International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents Children Film Fest, which will last from 13 to 22 June 2025a special playlist was created, which is also available to all users of the cinema and television platform Kyivstar TV. This is a unique opportunity to join the festival from anywhere in Ukraine-at home, at the country or on a trip.
Within the online program, five special tapes are collected, combining important topics of childhood, war, imagination and strength of spirit:
- “Most valuable cargo”dir. Michelle Azanavichus is a deep and touching fairy tale that has just reached Ukrainian rental;
- “Popi Dovgapanchokha” (1969) – a retrospective of a cult film based on Astrid Lindgren’s books;
- “The story of a child and cinema” – a documentary about how children changed and formed the history of cinema;
- “How Hitler stole rabbit” – sincere history of emigration and children’s view of the war;
- “Zoo” – A movie about courage and friendship in the darkest times.
This project is implemented within the framework of the information partnership of Kyivstar TV and Children Film Festival, which combines common values - support for quality children’s content, the development of film culture, the availability of movies for families from all over the country.
Children Film Fest is an annual children’s film festival that opens the Ukrainian audience to the world of modern European cinema and film classics. The winner of the festival is traditionally selected by the audience by voting after watching each movie.
