According to the artist, he had a cardiac arrest in 2024. One day he lost consciousness just on the street and went to the hospital. It happened in the USA, where Vasyl was supposed to perform at a charity concert.

“2024 could be the final stop of my life, but God surely has other plans for me. So today is one year after the surgery I had in the US for cardiac arrest. It was a terrible time in my life, I will not describe the details and details, I just want to express my gratitude to the American doctors, and especially to the Institute of Cardiology in the suburbs of Chicago, and to Dr. Moen Salim, who found the cause of my fourth fainting, which occurred during January 2024 in the middle of the street and this is a few days before the charity concert,” Maruschak wrote on his Instagram and showed a photo from the hospital.

“The first half of 2024 with the electrodes implanted in my heart for the rest of my life was difficult – both physically, morally, and psychologically. But, realizing that a depressed state would not lead to good, I picked myself up and started working over myself. The biggest question was about continuing my concert activities. For a while, the doctors recommended that I refrain from performing, then I had to give up the planned charity concerts.”

But a year after the operation, Vasyl feels better and has already returned to performances.

“No one is insured and knows where and when something can happen. In my case, it was cardiac arrest, loss of consciousness and falling like a fly in the middle of the streets of America to the operating table. Why am I writing about this today – a year later? I have these are good personal reasons. Now the main thing for me is that I am alive and can continue to perform concerts and give people happy emotions. this is a creative process,” the artist added.

We will remind you that earlier the famous Ukrainian singer Lesyk had a heart attack right on stage.
