Miroirs no. 3 Follows Laura (Frequent Petzold Collaborator Paula Beer), A Piano Student from Berlin, Who Survives A Car Acident During a Weekend in the Countryside. Thought uninjured, she is left psychologically shakon and is taken in by a local woman who wit with the crash. As Laura Becomes Part of the Household – Alongside the Woman’s Husband and Adult Son – The Four Begin to Form A Fragile Familiacial Bond. However, The Harmony Is Short-Lived, As Buried Histories Come To The Surface and Laura Must Confront Her Own Unresolved Past.

The Film Marks Petzold’s Fourth Collaboration with Beer, Who Receive The Silver Bear For Best Actress at Berlineale 2020 For Her Role In Undine. Beer is joined by Barbara Auer (The Book Thief, Yella), Matthias Brandt (Transit, Farewell to Europe), and enno trebs (Afire, The White Ribbon).
