The Texas Hold ‘Em hitmaker, 43, released a second campaign for the legendary American clothing brand, rocking a glamorous denim on denim look while playing a game of pool in a dive bar.
It was her take on Levi’s 1991 Pool Hall ad, in which a young man bets his jeans on a pool game.
The 15-second video sees her play and win a game of pool against actor Timothy Olyphant, 56, who stars in the Western-drama series Justified.
Beyonce walks into the dive bar rocking a bedazzled denim jacket, matching Levi’s jeans, and statement earrings. Her short platinum blonde hair is styled into voluminous curls, with her glam looking flawless.
The ad, titled ‘Chapter 2: Pool Hall’, was set to her Cowboy Carter hit ‘Levii’s Jeans’ featuring Post Malone.
‘iin my jeans’, the superstar wrote as she promoted the new ad on her Instagram.
Chapter 2: Pool Hall continues Beyonce and Levi’s ‘Reiimagine’ campaign, which launched after her Cowboy Carter album.
Interestingly, Beyonce’s rhinestoned look isn’t for sale. However, the collection features a wide variety of denim items, indulging jeans, jackets, vests, and more.
Other promotional images, shared by the brand earlier this week, see the singer modeling a denim trench coat ($198), a braided vest ($80) and wide-leg jeans ($98).
In her first ad for the brand, released in September, Beyonce paid homage to a legendary Eighties advert as she flashed her underwear.
The singer stripped off in the 30-second advert, entitled Chapter 1: Launderette, which was a modern replica of Nick Kamen’s 1985 Levis 501 advert.
Beyonce’s version saw her head inside a laundry mat while carrying a bucket of diamonds and clad in a $98 pair of Levi’s Premium 501 90S Women’s Jeans.
Twin girls could be seen sitting in the laundrette as the singer showcased her 5ft6in figure in the snug boy-shorts and $29.50 Levi’s Essential Sporty T-shirt.
The Grammy winner then grabbed her empty bucket and headed to the chairs where she took a seat to patiently wait for her ‘laundry’ to finish.
‘My song Levii’s Jeans celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform — something we all wear with pride,’ Beyoncé said in the press release.
‘I am honored to work with Levi’s to create quintessential American iconography. Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign, which celebrates the iconic female perspective, is important to me. I look forward to exploring innovative ways for our visions to align in empowering women and honoring their strength.’
Levi Strauss & Co. reported a 20% boost on their stock price, a 20% rise in footfall at US stores, and $1.2M in additional revenue following the Texan singer name-dropping them in her country song.
‘We launched our breakthrough campaign with global icon Beyoncé, reaffirming Levi’s place at the center of culture, which is driving demand across our business, especially in women,’ Michelle Gass, Levi’s chief executive officer (CEO), said in the company’s most recent earnings call.
‘The Levi’s brand has and always will be the unofficial uniform for those moving forward in the pursuit of better,’ Levi’s global CMO Kenny Mitchell previously said in the press release.
‘We believe a key part of that is continuously breaking and building the codes of culture. In collaboration with Beyoncé, we explore the power of reimagination through this campaign, helping us to connect with our fans in new ways and supporting the growth of our women’s business as the definitive denim lifestyle brand.’
Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour is set to kick off April 18 in Inglewood, California, before wrapping up July 14, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.
It comes after Cowboy Carter won Beyonce the accolade for Best Country Album at the Grammys earlier this month.
The superstar froze and adopted a robot-inspired stance as it was revealed Cowboy Carter had scored her her first ever win in the category.
She beat out an impressive field including: Chris Stapleton – Higher, Kacey Musgraves – Deeper Well, Lainey Wilson – Whirlwind, and Post Malone – F-1 Trillion.
Many critics questioned the outcome, as they referenced Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z, who lambasted the Recording Academy industry at the 2024 ceremony after his wife failed to win an award.
Beyonce was famously snubbed by the Country Music Association Awards back in September so no doubt to be bestowed this honor came as a complete shock.
The star has been keeping busy, as earlier this week she announced a ‘historic partnership’ with Ulta Beauty.
Her beauty brand Cécred has confirmed its first retail partner, with its products coming to over 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores as well as the retailer’s website.
Her personal life saw a positive turn recently, with the dismissal of a lawsuit against her husband, Jay-Z.
The rapper, real name Shawn Carter, was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards party alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in a lawsuit that was filed in December last year.
The unnamed accuser has voluntarily dismissed the case and Carter, 55, has now sued his accuser’s attorney Tony Buzbee, who filed the allegations.
According to insiders, Beyonce is said to be feeling an immense sense of ‘relief’ now that the lawsuit has crumbled.
A source shared with DailyMail.com exclusively, ‘Relief is too simple a word to describe what Bey is feeling right now after Jay’s current legal issues were dropped.’
The insider further revealed, ‘While they put on brave faces, behind the scenes, it was a stressful time for Beyonce, bringing back memories of when Jay had previously broken her trust.’
‘On top of that, their children were affected.’
The pair share daughter Blue, 13, and eight-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
