Bethesda showed nothing on Summer Game Fest 2025 / Photo – BethesdaBethesda did not show anything on Summer Game Fest. Neither the expected trailer of The Elder Scrolls 6 nor even some DLC for Starfield. Because of this, the company fans on Reddit staged a rally.
Users began to remember how they met Skyrim and what happened in their lives then:
“When Skyrim came out, I studied in elementary school, and my friend and I joked that we were going to be adults before TES 6.
“I have been waiting for 13 years, 7 months and 27 days … And here I’m sitting … The half-dried tear is kept in the corner of my trembling smile, and in my head the images of smiling Todd Howard with a retro-footistic fishing rod are sweeping in my hands …”.
In fact, fans are more dissatisfied with the fact that TES 6 has not yet come out, but that Bethesda has been silent for the last 2 years. Previously, the company was produced every 3-5 years, but with the release of Starfield, the development cycle was clearly broken.
Starfield came out 2 years ago, and The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in a very early stage, and the chances of Bethesda will have time to finish everything during the remaining time – very small.
Previously known Insider Jez Corden reported that Microsoft already has a TES 6 trailer, which developers are carefully hiding.
