The Aussie actress, 33, shared the exciting news by posting a gallery of baby bump photos to Instagram on Wednesday during the press tour for her upcoming movie Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.
In one image, Samara stretched her body out on a lounge in a sparkly brown dress as she had her make-up done.
She also revealed her growing bump as she posed in a sheer lace top on the balcony of her LA home.
‘Ready or Not: Here I Come,’ she simply captioned the images, adding a winking face emoji.
Her friends and fans flooded the comments with congratulations, while her husband Jimmy jokingly asked who the baby’s father was.
‘Congrats! Who is the dad?’ he joked.
‘Whaaaaattttt? Congrats Sam… so happy for you guys,’ actor Melvin Gregg said.
‘Never have I ever seen anything as beautiful!!! Yay!’ Annie Karstens added while her former Home and Away co-star Demi Harman wrote: ‘Yas mamacitaaaa.’
‘I knew it!!!! all along congrats,’ another person added.
‘SAMARA!!!! Congratulations mama!!! ❤️’ one commented.
Home and Away alum Samara confirmed her secret marriage to Jimmy in 2022, mentioning him as her ‘husband’ during an interview.
The notoriously private star told the Herald Sun their nuptials ‘flew under the radar’.
At the time, Samara revealed she was preparing to start work on a new film with Jimmy, whom she first met on the set of Netflix’s comedy-horror The Babysitter in 2015.
‘I am actually about to go and work with my husband,’ she said.
‘He has written and is directing a film so I am going to go and do that, which will be really fun.’
Rumours of a secret marriage had been circulating for about a year prior.
Speculation intensified when Jimmy posted a cryptic Instagram photo of the couple in fake moustaches, hinting at being ‘married’ in the caption.
The couple, who had been dating for more than six years, met on the set of The Babysitter in 2015 when Samara was cast in the lead role and Jimmy was a producer.
Jimmy confirmed they were an item in 2016 when he began sharing photos of the pair on Instagram. But Samara didn’t post any photos with him until 2017.
The duo announced their engagement in March 2019 when Samara shared a photo of herself with a diamond ring on her left hand.
Samara is the niece of Lord of the Rings star Hugo Weaving.
