In October, the company will show seven new devices, including the MacBook Pro on the M4 / photo AppleApple’s second autumn event will take place already “in the next few weeks”, probably in early October. This was reported by the well-known insider Mark Gurman.The main topic of the event will be the first Mac computers with M4 processors, focused on increasing the productivity of AI capabilities, as well as the capabilities of Apple Intelligence. The event is also likely to update the base iPad and iPad Mini.
In total, seven novelties are expected. Among them:
- New entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro on base M4;
- New MacBook Pro with 14-inch and 16-inch screens. They will receive M4 Pro and M4 Max chips;
- New 24-inch iMac;
- Mac mini on M4 and M4 Pro;
- 11th generation iPad;
- iPad mini 7th generation.
According to the insider, most of the mentioned devices are already manufactured and delivered to Apple warehouses.
The Mac mini is expected to be the only future Apple computer to receive a fresh redesign. And the basic iPad will keep all the main features of the current device, but it will be significantly cheaper.
The rest of the new products on the M4 will be presented only next year. Among them are MacBook Air (spring 2025), Mac Studio and Mac Pro (summer-fall 2025).
So far, the only device of the company on the new ARM-processor of the M4 generation remains the iPad Pro, shown in May of this year. In the tests, the tablet turned out to be many times more powerful than its predecessor M2 and performs well against the MacBook Pro M3 Pro.
And tomorrow, iOS 18 will be released for iPhone XS and newer smartphones. However, experts do not recommend updating to a new OS if your iPhone was repaired in an unofficial service.
