These unique birds thin out rodent populations, so in some countries farmers deliberately “attract” a loop to their fields.

Dr. Biological Sciences, Park employee Ivan Rusev told about it. The scientist posted a video on which the bird that got into the Photo Passcode.

“A sipukha is a rare species of birds in the Tuzlsky estuary National Park, which was first registered in 2024 (in this reserve – UNIAN). It feeds on various types of small rodents. In its diet, a common copper is common, or a common booze,” the scientist said.

He explained that the bird, who was in video, was brought to the National Park from the Nudyanik estate.

According to Rusev, the recognition of this owl gives it a completely white face of the heart -shaped shape. Slugs are considered very useful because they control the population of mice in nature. In particular, a pair of bulk per year destroys about 5,000 rodents, so these birds in some countries are even specifically “attracted” by farmers to the fields.

“Therefore, these birds need to be protected. It is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine,” Rusev explains.

Sipukha is the only type of bulk found on the territory of Ukraine. For hunting requires large open areas: fields, swamps, wasteland, bows. Usually breeds on trees near fields or in abandoned structures (such as pantry, sheds) or on ruins.

Settling in one place, these birds are very attached to him and the loud shouts drive away any strangers. When hunting for prey, the sippers can fly at speeds of up to 30 km/h. These birds have incredibly responsive hearing and, thanks to almost silent flight, pick rodents when they do not expect it.

Tuzlsky Liman National Park – Last NewsAs UNIAN wrote, red -book birds – martini Snitkodzobi, flew into the UNIAN National Nature Park “Tuzliv Limans” (Odesa region). In the reserve in early May 2025, they began to form nest colonies and are now holding masonry.

Scientists hope that the chicks will soon be. These rare birds are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Birds’ nests often die from flooding as a result of nagging winds and storms. The damage to the colonies is also caused by the Zhovtonos and Mediterranean martin. Interestingly, the species named after the Italian naturalist Carlo Giuseppe Gene.

It was also reported that amazing multicolored birds flew from Africa to Odesa region. It is about beekeeping that arrive in the spring in search of insects and housing on the breakage of reservoirs.

According to experts, beekeeping is known for their sweet singing. They nest, as a rule, colonies that have from several to several tens or even hundreds of couples.
