But Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury shocked fans in August when they called time on their romance, despite plans in motion for them to wed next September.
Molly’s journey began in 2019 when she was 20 years old and she appeared on ITV2 show Love Island, where she fell in love with Tommy in front of the nation.
The couple welcomed their daughter Bambi in 2023 and seven months later got engaged after Tommy popped the question with a reported £600,000 diamond ring during an Ibizan clifftop proposal.
Molly-Mae filmed a documentary for Amazon Prime in the wake of their devastating split giving insight into the fall-out from it, which will air on January 17.
With a trailer for the hotly-anticipated series released on Wednesday, MailOnline takes a look at all the clues it includes about what may have led to the once-smitten couple’s demise.
Giving insight into their chats post-break up, Mollie is seen having a heated phone call with Tommy as they navigate co-parenting daughter Bambi.
Molly-Mae is filmed having a heated row with Tommy over the phone in one scene.
She says: ‘I’m actually not having this conversation with you’, before the boxer hangs up and Molly-Mae rolls her eyes in frustration, commenting: ‘Ah, honestly…’
The trailer also shows Molly-Mae breaking down in tears as she admits to feeling ‘angry’ and ‘hurt’ by Tommy.
The former Love Island star says the couple were ‘utterly obsessed’ with each other until the sudden breakdown of their five-year relationship, describing the aftermath of their split as the worst months of her entire life.
In a first look at her six-part series with Prime Video, Molly says: ‘All I ever wanted was to get married and suddenly overnight every part of my life changed…’
She later said: ‘The last couple of months have been like the worst couple of months of my life.’
During an emotional talk with her mother, she reveals the depth of her heartbreak, admitting: ‘I am angry at him, and I am very hurt…’
Molly-Mae is then filmed hugging daughter Bambi saying: ‘I feel like sometimes it just really hits you that I’m in this alone now.’
The trailer also has a very emotional where Molly-Mae is seen feeding dinner to their daughter Bambi.
As bambi sits in her highchair for tea time, she is seen crying as she calls out for her ‘dada’.
The cry leaves Molly-Mae a bit lost for words as she sits back with a blank expression on her face.
Breaking the news of their split to her 8.3million Instagram followers back in summer, Molly said: ‘Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.
‘After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.’
The revelation led to months of speculation Tommy was unfaithful during their relationship, claims he vehemently denies.
Speaking about their breakup to British Vogue last month, Molly said: ‘It was a bit of a shock. The circumstances… I didn’t want what happened to happen.
‘I wanted to get married next September and it’s very hard when it’s kind of taken away. But I will always have a lot of love and respect for him.’
