Combat work aimed at eliminating attempts by the Russians to expand their firepower on logistics is ongoing, intelligence said.

The message states that the forces of the “Timur Special Unit” of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are continuing an operation in one of the districts of the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, which is important from the point of view of front-line logistics.
“Fierce battles are taking place with the Russian occupiers. After a successful amphibious operation, the GUR special forces, who occupied the designated lines, penetrated the ground corridor and additional forces of the special unit joined. Combat work is ongoing, aimed at eliminating the enemy’s attempts to expand the fire influence on logistics in the area of responsibility of the GUR,” the press service emphasized.
It is noted that combat tasks in the sector are also carried out by other special units of the GUR. At the same time, intelligence officers explained that for the purpose of safety of the personnel of the involved units, the details of the operations are not disclosed at the moment. Coordinated work with all components of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine is currently underway.
The GUR also released unique footage of combat work at the front of the “Timur Special Unit” fighters in Pokrovsk. On them, you can see episodes of scouts practicing in the conditions of urban development, using various weapons, landing, etc.
The situation in PokrovskWe will remind, the deputy commander of the 4th battalion “Freedom Force” of the 4th brigade “Rubizh” of the National Guard of Ukraine, officer of the “Legion of Freedom” Major Volodymyr Nazarenko said that the Russian army continues to press in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
According to him, the enemy will suffer significant losses, but is ready for them in terms of manpower, equipment, ammunition, etc. The enemy operates in small groups, periodically deploys armored and lightly armored vehicles covered with shields and gratings.
Groups of occupying forces, which manage to penetrate through the fire of artillery and UAVs, engage in firefights, in direct contact. The biggest problem, according to the officer, is logistics and movement.
