Igor Celsius sharply criticized those who chose comfort in Russia instead of standing on the side of his country.

In a comment to UNIAN, he stressed that such a position is unacceptable and deserves public condemnation.
Celsius noted that, in his opinion, among such “traitors” – Anna Asti, who, after the start of a full -scale war, received Russian citizenship and continues her career in the territory of the aggressor country; Taisiya Povaliy, who actively supports the Kremlin’s policy; As well as Regina Todorenko, a Ukrainian in origin, which remained in Russia and did not make any statement in support of Ukraine. The musician emphasized that silence and career in Russia among Ukrainians are perceived as betrayal and cause outrage among the public.
“It is difficult for me to perceive those who have chosen comfort in the aggressor country instead of standing on the side of their state. It is not just a personal choice – it is a betrayal,” said Celsius. “Anna Asti, Taisiya Povaliy, Regina Todorenko – all of them are Ukrainian women who have chosen to stay in Russia.
The singer added:
“If you are a public person, your position is important. Silence and career continuation in the aggressor country is a direct blow to our values. These people should be exposed and they should be banned from entering Ukraine.”
He also stressed that Ukraine’s support for public people is not just words, but specific actions: charity concerts, assistance to the military, participation in social projects:
