He called several reasons.
Sofia Rotaru / photo UNIANThe frontman of the band “Hamermann destroys the viruses” Albert Tsukrenko told why the legendary singer Sofia Rotaru lost its popularity.
According to him, the Ukrainian stage began to degrade since the 80s:
“And these artists who sang Ivasyuk’s songs did not notice it. They gradually began to perform much less, to put it mildly, quality material.”
Sofia Rotaru also performed songs by Vladimir Ivasyuk. However, over time, the artist stopped producing songs with depth, content and character, Tsukrenko believes.
Journalist Emma Antonyuk, who spoke to Tskranko, asked if the musical taste could disappear, because Rotaru released several break -up songs.
Albert said that it was possible and called a number of reasons: the influence of the situation, age, loss of interest in the new one and closure in his own idea of himself.
“With age, many begin to believe that he knows better than young people. It is happening gradually. The person is locking on his own. And today you are a cool avant -gardist, and after 20 years – you sing in some invisible pub in Podil,” – summed up the musician.
