“We have such an emergency situation almost every day. Due to overload, minor technical failures now lead to power outages in entire districts,” DTEK energy engineer Maksym told reporters, explaining that a combination of Russian attacks and extreme weather conditions overloaded the country’s power system.
He added that due to increased frost, the equipment wears out faster, because the load on it increases.
It will be recalled that in January, Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK energy workers returned electricity to the homes of 4.5 million families whose homes were cut off due to enemy attacks.
