A trailer for “2000 meters to Andreevka” / Frame from the movie was releasedAn international trailer for the Ukrainian director and journalist Associated Press Mstislav Chernov “2000 meters to Andreevka” was released, which tells the history of the liberation of the village under Bakhmut.
“2000 meters to Andreevka” is a new work of the director who became the first Ukrainian cinema to receive the Oscar for 20 days in Mariupol.
The film refers to how a tiny village ten kilometers from Bakhmut Andreevka becomes the arena of fierce fighting during the Ukrainian counter -offensive in 2023. The third assault team from the liberation of the village is separated by only two kilometers of forest strips. But it is littered with mines and the enemy dug here. Fighters who were once ordinary civilians overcome this path, giving hard to every meter of territory to return to Ukraine its land.
Mstislav Chernov documented the liberation of Andreevka with a colleague, photographer AP, Ko-printer and operator Alex Babenko. Music was created by a two -time laureate of the Grammy Prize composer and music producer Sam Slaiter (Chornobyl, Joker).
