Vietnam is ready to reset duties for the USA - Trump

US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, who said that Vietnam wants to reduce its tariffs for the US to zero. Trump wrote about this in his social network Truthsocial, reports UNN.

Just had a very productive conversation with To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who told me that Vietnam wants to reduce its tariffs to zero if they can reach an agreement with the US. I thanked him on behalf of our country and said that I look forward to meeting him in the near future

AdditionUS President Donald Trump has announced the introduction of new tariffs for certain countries, including China – 34%, EU – 20%, Great Britain – 20%.

First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the introduction of US tariffs for Ukraine in the amount of 10% is not critical, and Kyiv is already working to ensure that the conditions are better.

US tariffs of 10% for Ukraine are insignificant due to the small volume of trade. Experts warn that Trump’s economic policy could provoke a global crisis, especially for America itself.
