“Ukrzaliznytsia” is updating passenger rolling stock. Some of the new cars will appear in the fall of 2024.

“Construction of 66 passenger cars, which are manufactured in Ukraine, is underway. The first cars from this program will start their flights already this fall,” said the chairman of the board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Yevhen Lyashchenko.
The UZ noted that the new lot includes compartment cars, SV, 4 cars for people with disabilities and reserved cars.
All carriages will already have a basic set of amenities: air conditioners; vacuum toilets; sockets, USB and Type-C ports; coffee machines; video surveillance systems, etc.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” launches Wi-Fi on Intercity and Intercity+ trains. 10 Hyundai trains, 2 Skoda trains, 2 Tarpan trains and 2 MPLT wagon trains are currently equipped with Internet access systems.
