From January 1, 2025, Ukrposhta will introduce an approach to the formation of tariffs for the delivery of parcels, which will depend on the volume, not on the weight. This was reported by the company’s general director Ihor Smilyanskyi. “For the first time in the history of Ukrposhta, we are abandoning tariffs that depend on weight. So we will have “weightless” tariffs,” Smilyanskyi said. The general director of “Ukrposhta” informed that such a decision will make tariffs more accessible, convenient and fair. Advertising: According to him, the lowest tariff will remain unchanged. “Basic” will be 50% lower than competitors, and “Priority” will allow you to deliver the parcel faster. The cost of delivery will be fixed. It can be determined using standard Ukrposhta boxes or your own packaging. “We will have eight sizes according to the tariffs. So you only pay for the volume you send,” Smilyanskyi added.Advertisement: At the same time, when sending, you will need to indicate the weight of the parcel to control its integrity. Smilyanskyi added that the delivery of non-standard parcels will remain possible, but will require an additional fee of UAH 50 for manual processing. We will remind: the co-founder of the Nova group Vyacheslav Klymov said that “Nova Poshta” won the competitive battle with “Ukrposhta” in terms of shipments within Ukraine.
