The information about gas cut-off schedules, allegedly in connection with the termination of transit of Russian gas through Ukraine, does not correspond to reality. This is reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation. According to the report, such a fake is being distributed in Telegram channels with a screenshot of a non-existent article in one of the Ukrainian publications. To view the “graphics”, users are directed to the Telegram bot. In the photo posted by the CPD, it can be seen that unknown persons used a screenshot of a non-existent news item on Economic Truth in the false report. On January 6, at 12:40 p.m., as indicated in the fake information, another piece of news was published on the EP – about “National Cashback”. Advertising: “Such a message is a typical example of clickbait using disinformation headlines and fake articles”, – noted in the CPD.
